Welcome to GirlDad Creative (“GirlDad Creative,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, services, custom artwork, and on-site engraving (“Services”). By purchasing from or interacting with GirlDad Creative, you agree to these Terms.

If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our Services.

1. Business Information

GirlDad Creative is owned and operated by:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

2. Age Requirements

Customers under the age of 18 may use our Services only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Orders placed by minors represent an affirmation that a guardian has approved the purchase.

3. Custom Artwork, Proofing & Approval

3.1 Artwork Proofs
Custom orders typically require artwork proof approval before entering production. A digital mockup will be sent to the email you provide at checkout.

3.2 Approval Before Payment Capture
For online custom orders, your card is authorized at checkout but not charged until you approve the final artwork.

3.3 Customer Responsibility
You are fully responsible for reviewing artwork proofs thoroughly, including:

  • Names, spelling, grammar

  • Dates, monograms, coordinates

  • Layout and design choices

  • Submitted images, logos, and instructions

Your approval constitutes permission for us to begin production and permission to make minor modifications as needed to ensure the highest quality engraving, including but not limited to:

  • Adjusting spacing, sizing, alignment

  • Modifying fonts when a font cannot be imported into laser or design software

  • Reformatting artwork from PNG/JPEG to SVG or vector form for engraving

  • Adjusting stroke thickness or layout for better engraving results

Approval of artwork means you accept these minor production adjustments.

3.4 Customer-Provided Artwork
By submitting any artwork, you confirm that you own the rights to it or have obtained permission to use it. You assume all liability for copyright/trademark issues related to submitted designs.

4. Production & Fulfillment

4.1 Production Timeline
Production begins after artwork approval and payment capture. Standard production time is 2–4 business days, not including weekends, holidays, or vendor-event days.

4.2 Rush Orders
Rush options may be available for select items at an additional cost.

4.3 Event & On-Site Engraving
Items engraved at live events, weddings, or vendor shows are considered final sale at the time of purchase.

5. Shipping, Local Pickup & Delivery

5.1 Shipping Methods
Orders may be shipped via USPS, UPS, or through Shopify/Pirate Ship services. Customers may choose expedited options at checkout.

5.2 Shipping Insurance

  • Fragile/higher-value items are automatically insured.

  • Additional insurance may be purchased upon request.

5.3 Loss, Damage & Delays
Once an item leaves our shop, GirlDad Creative is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or damaged shipments.
We will, however, assist in filing insurance claims and finding solutions.

5.4 Local Pickup & Delivery
Available when selected at checkout. Customers agree to pick up orders in a timely manner.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

6.1 Custom Items
Due to the personalized nature of our products, all sales are final.

6.2 Our Errors
If an error occurs due to GirlDad Creative (engraving error, wrong item, etc.), we will replace or remake the item at no cost.

6.3 Customer Errors
Errors arising from incorrect customer submissions—including spelling, dates, instructions, or artwork approvals—are not eligible for replacement or refund.

6.4 Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before artwork approval only.
Once artwork is approved, cancellation is no longer possible.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Authorized Payments
Your payment method is authorized at checkout but not charged until artwork is approved.

7.2 Payment Capture
Following approval, payment is captured and production begins.

7.3 POS & Live Event Orders
Orders placed at vendor shows or on-site events are paid at the time of purchase and enter immediate production if applicable.

8. Promo Codes, Discounts & Membership Offers

8.1 General Discount Policies
Promo codes:

  • May require email subscription or membership

  • May be discontinued, modified, or reactivated at any time

  • Have a defined lifespan determined by the company

  • Are not automatically applied retroactively

  • May be single-use or multi-use depending on the promotion

8.2 Discount Requests
Discount extensions or adjustments may be requested from the President of Bucce Group LLC and granted at their discretion.

8.3 Subscription-Based Offers
Some offers or promo codes are available only to email subscribers.
Customers may unsubscribe at any time, but doing so may void access to subscriber-only offers.

9. Privacy & Data Use

9.1 Personal Information
We collect customer information solely for:

  • Order processing

  • Artwork communication

  • Shipping & delivery

  • Optional marketing (only with consent)

9.2 Data Retention
We retain:

  • Artwork files for potential future reproductions

  • Order information for business records

  • Marketing data only for subscribed customers

9.3 Marketing Emails
You may subscribe and unsubscribe at any time.
Unsubscribing may restrict access to subscriber-only promotions and coupons.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, photos, mockups, templates, and site content created by GirlDad Creative are the property of Bucce Group LLC. Reproduction or resale is prohibited without written permission.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

(“Standard” level protection)

GirlDad Creative provides products “as-is” and makes no express warranties beyond the workmanship of our engraving and fabrication. We do not guarantee identical reproduction of colors, grain, or patterns in natural materials such as wood, leather, stone, or glass.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.

12. Limitation of Liability

GirlDad Creative is not liable for:

  • Carrier delays, loss, or damage

  • Customer-submitted artwork errors

  • Misuse or improper handling of products

  • Allergic reactions or sensitivities

  • Events outside our control (weather, supply chain, vendor cancellations)

In no event will GirlDad Creative be responsible for consequential or incidental damages.

13. Agreement to Terms

By using our website, placing an order, submitting artwork, or approving a design, you agree to these Terms of Service.
